Being an aficionado of most things submersible, it was only a matter of time before I assembled costumes from one of my favorite films, Fantastic Voyage. While I was quite content to wander the halls of Marcon 35 in my very comfortable white CMDF jumpsuit, I really wanted to display my wife's curves in Raquel's skin tight SCUBA suit. Unfortunately, it seems that white SCUBA suits are as scarce as miniaturized surgical teams. Forced to improvise, we hit upon the idea of using a rubber catsuit. However, white is not a common color used in the fetish apparel industry either. It was only after many hours of surfing the net that we found Cocoon, a fetish company in Great Britain that offered custom made heavy rubber catsuits in a variety of colors, including white. Two dozen measurements and $300.00 later, we had the perfect outfit for Amy to strip down to.

No SCUBA suit would be complete without a mask and air tank. This meant I would be forced to watch scenes of Raquel Welch wiggling in skin tight rubber to get the details right. With many hours of painstaking research complete, I constructed the rebreather pack on a nylon handbag using a squirt gun water tank and valve, a plastic saucer, PVC pipe fittings and some plastic hose. The entire ensemble was then stitched to some seat belts I ordered from J.C Whitney auto parts. The mask was built to fit my wife. The curves of Amy's face were carefully plotted and measured using a flexible straight edge. Patterns were drawn, tested, and revised until the correct shapes were refined. Using these patterns, I cut sheet styrene into the appropriate shapes and cemented them together with super glue. A sheet of heavy acetate and a washer completed the rebreather mask.

The end result of countless hours of research and a few hours of construction and improvising was a sexy, rarely seen costume tightly wrapped around one fantastic wife. I'm still planning to build the laser rifle, should Amy need it to ward off any wayward corpuscles.
